Hello. My name is Stacy Campbell and I am the counselor at Smithville Junior High School. I have taught for 16 years, 6 of which were on this campus. I love our students and enjoy working with each of them. My personal mission statement is:
“I will lead the Smithville Junior High stakeholders in implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that strives to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of each student on the school campus in order for them to become productive members of society.”

Roles and Responsibilities.
Counseling students is my favorite part of my job, but I have many other duties and responsibilities. I'm in charge of scheduling, the 504 program, the G/T program and I also help with intervention planning.
Another fun part of my job is presenting guidance lessons in the classroom. I enjoy interacting with the classes as we work proactively to consider topics that are relative to our junior high students. I also coordinate the 8th grade Career Day, which the students enjoy as they are preparing for their future.
